At the Johnson Space Center in Houston (Mission Control) you can take tours of a few things. They throw you in line, take your picture for security reasons (as well as monetary) then drive you to whichever tour you decide. I went to mission control thinking that it was going to a site to see…boy was I wrong it was very lack luster. However on the back side of the tour they take you by garden of trees – one planted for every astronaut lost, they stop the trolly and play a clip from former president Bush and then ask for a moment of silence. After that they take to you a huge facility with this….and this….was well worth it for me.
